PLATOON Project participated in the 1st OPEN DEI energy domain workshop that has been held as teleconference on 6th April 2020. Jose I. Hormaeche (CEPV), as representative of the PLATOON Consortium, presented the main goals, developments and large-scale pilots of the project.
The objectives of the workshop were to establish links among H2020 projects in the energy ecosystem dealing with data exchange and use case applications, and also to set up working groups and joint actions for the upcoming period.
The workshop was opened by the EC Officers Marc van Stiphout (DG ENER) and Franck Boissiere (DG CONNECT), both representatives from seven H2020 awarded projects (one of them being PLATOON), exchanged information about their projects and explored synergies as well as areas of common interest for setting up working groups.
OPEN DEI is a Coordination and Support Action (CSA) funded by the EC under H2020, that aims to detect gaps, encourage synergies, support regional and national cooperation, and enhance communication among the Innovation Actions implementing the EU Digital Transformation strategy. The OPEN DEI project focuses on “Platforms and Pilots” to support the implementation of next generation digital platforms in four basic industrial domains: manufacturing, agriculture, energy and healthcare.
