On Wednesday, 9 June 2021, Alexandra Garatzogianni, Alina Brockob, Gerrit Rosam, and Michael Fribus from TIB & Leibniz University Hannover organized & hosted the European Semantic Web Conference ESWC EU Project Networking Session 2021.
For the first time, the EU Project Networking Session at the ESWC2021 took place completely online. The project networking track of ESWC2021 provided an opportunity to:
- Share knowledge among EU and national projects
- Transfer data and technology between projects
- Present and discuss project requirements and results with ESWC participants
- Discuss funding opportunities such as Horizon Europe and ERC.
The purpose of the EU project networking track was to provide EU-funded projects with the ability to connect with each other and engage in discussions about their respective research and development activities.
During the ESWC EU Project Networking Session 2021, Michael Fribus has presented the H2020 PLATOON Project.
Besides the H2020 PLATOON project, the H2020 MediaFutures project has been presented by Alina Brockob & the H2020 TRUSTS project has been presented by Gerrit Rosam.
In total, 9 EU projects – CLEOPATRA, CrossJustice, Odeuropa, MUSICODE, 4CH, Polifonia, MediaFutures, TRUSTS, and PLATOON – were presented by the online session attendees. The duration of the EU Project Networking Session was 2 hours.
We want to thank all participants for their very informative project presentations and wish them all the best for their future!
